On Saturday 02/07 Næstved MRC hosted the 3rd round of the Danish Touring Car Championships, on their big nitro track 80km from Copenhagen.
The track is quite big, but still challenging to drive on, but motor-power is very important on this track, so are good batteries. The weather was perfect with sun all day and 25 degrees, Nice ;0) |

| In the modified class the battle was between Steen Graversen, Jonas Kærup, Pelle Martin and me. Steen made tq in first round followed by Jonas 1,5 sec slower, then Pelle, and me. Steen decided to be tactic, and spared the limited tyres for the 2nd and 3rd round, hoping that no one could take the TQ spot. â“ Good decision. Steen kept the TQ, followed by Jonas, Pelle and me. The only four drivers making 17 laps. |

Third final Steen didnâ™t start so all in all he didnâ™t get much racing this day. Only 3 times 5 minutes to win the race. Jonas and Pelle had to fight alone this time. I had to do something this time, so I tried to time down the motor, and gear up a tooth, but this was not a wise decision. - After 3 min the motor was way to hot, and I had to retire. â“ But the results from this final were good for me, so I kept the overall 4th.
